Honey beats MRSA, land of rising cuts, and more

Manuka honey is thought to have antibacterial properties. Now Rowena Jenkins from the University of Wales Institute in Cardiff, UK, has shown that it appears to defeat deadly methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) by destroying a protein called FabI.
